Healing Hands Trust

Healing Hands Trust plays a vital role in restoring dignity, care, and hope to elderly, bedridden, and mentally ill individuals who are often neglected or forgotten by society.

Healing Hands Trust is a charitable organization established on 14 June 2017 with the objective of improving health, awareness, and quality of life for vulnerable communities in and around Perambalur District, Tamil Nadu.
Perambalur is one of the most backward districts in terms of health awareness and access to quality care. Recognizing this gap, Healing Hands Trust works actively in the areas of health education, awareness programs, and compassionate care services, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Trust has conducted extensive CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) training, eye donation awareness, and non-communicable disease awareness programs, in collaboration with organizations such as Lions Club, Rotary Club, and other social institutions.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Healing Hands Trust provided physical, mental, and financial support to people in need, particularly chronic kidney disease patients undergoing dialysis. The Trust also trained families in the home care and handling of bedridden patients.
Post-pandemic, the Trust identified the urgent need for old age and bedridden care homes, as many elderly and mentally ill individuals were left without proper care. Today, Healing Hands Trust extends its services to elderly people, bedridden patients, mentally ill individuals, and homeless persons, ensuring dignity, care, and compassion.
The Trust is also building a network of trained volunteers to provide first aid and basic life support services across society.
